El pasaje de hoy utiliza las palabras “vino”, “pan” y “aceite” para simbolizar una acción definida del Espíritu Santo. El vino representa el óleo de gozo que viene para sanar nuestras tristezas internas; el pan representa el alimento espiritual que viene del cielo para fortalecernos y darnos salud; el aceite representa la protección contra las presiones de la vida. Cuando alguien se atreve con fe a sentarse en la mesa, con el Señor, recibimos todos estos beneficios. La intimidad con Dios incluye sentarnos a su mesa, donde los manjares celestiales están disponibles para ser saciados. Hay cristianos raquíticos espirituales que nunca se han sentado a la mesa del Padre, y sólo se han conformado con las migajas del reino. Elige en este día lo mejor, y tu vida interior resultará saciada como jamás lo imaginaste ¡porque Cristo realmente satisface!
